Why is there no SMS feature on the yahoo! messenger version i downloaded for mac?

I used to have yahoo! messenger for pc which had an SMS feature for sending messages from pc to phone. now that i have a mac, i downloaded yahoo messenger to find that there is no SMS feature. nor is there any type of pc to pc or pc to phone calling. whats up with that?

    right you are!

    Use iChat -> aim/aol/SMS.

    iChat does video & audio chat with pcs running aim or aol.

    iChat does SMS to all carriers.
