Standard Apple Video Software?
Hi,
For my English class, I’m planning on bringing in a video file (that is playable on Real player). I’ll be using an apple computer to display the file, but I don’t know what the basic video program apples have or if they can show real player video files at all! So can someone tell me what video software apples come with, and if they don’t come with real player, could someone tell me if it is possible to install real player on the apple or completely reformat the video file to something apple can play?
Thanks!

RealPlayer is available for Macs as a free download from their Website, realplayer.com. I have it on my Mac. Standard software on a Mac is iMovie. It comes with the software package iLife ‘06 which may already be installed on your machine if you have OS X 10.4 Tiger.

there is a mac version of real player which should play your video.
You can download it, but it sounds to me like you’re using a schools computer, which, may or may not allow you to install new programs. Check with your teacher.
