i have a lap top -mac g4 i-book and i downloaded messenger with voice but i’m not seeing the phone icons ?

i see the contacts on my list but only a smiley emoticon to the left and their picture on the right of the name and nothing else.???
also i don’t see any other settings to help me be able to use voice thru my computer??? thank you ! danny@acoustechmusic.com

    Have you tried uninstalling them re-installing it?
