How do I increase the speed of torrent downloads on my mac?

I have a mac and it always says it’s gonna take days to download,,, and yes.. I do have a very good internet connection, it’s quite fast…. so anyone knows what I can do?

    I would recommend using uTorrent, and finding a torrent that has a lot of seeders (at least 100 or more) My favorite sites are http://www.torrentspy.com http://www.thepiratebay.org and http://www.isohunt.com

    under settings,
    you should see network,
    and make sure you are either dsl or cable modem… cause sometimes it set at lower speed,

    also there is settings to put more speed into downloads than uploads..

    just because you have fast internet doesn’t mean the one hosting the file has fast service either,
    in highspeed internet the upload speed is way slower than the download speed…
