Downloading windows media player to Mac OS X?

it keeps downloadin as a file wit the ending .bin so it keeps saying i need to choose an application 4 it or sumthin…so basically its not workin and i dont know how to do it and i need steps

    Unless you specifically need Windows Media PLayer, you can play Windows Media players using QuickTime. Just download the the files from here:

    First, I would like to second answer from AM. Flip4Mac is fantastic. Beside Flip4Mac, you might want to try VLC, which can play almost everything you throw at it.
