apple software?

well do they sell any software that apple created that is like a mac sorta thing. like the whole safari and messenger and likee all this other stuff that the mac comes with, do they sell it for like a non mac computer?
i know its confusing. but yeah.

    you can get safari on windows, and it is free. you can download it from their website apple.com

    Not all Apple software is available for windows but some like Safari are available for Windows.

    Try Apple.com

    following apple software is available for windows computers :
    - itunes
    - quicktime
    - safari
    all 3 are free downloads from http://www.apple.com/downloads
    everything else is mac only software – apple wants you to buy mac – that is reason why they do not release windows software unless it is connected with itunes which is where you will spend yr money – safari for windows – reason is iphone

    I’m not sure what all apple stuff is available for windows. I know itunes, quicktime, and safari are. You can prbably just go to apple.com and look in the software/download section.
    Wait, here’s an idea. Go to versiontracker.com or download.com and set the search to windows mode and do a search for apple.

Apple Software?

I’m thinking about getting a macbook, but I was wondering what kind of software does it come with? Like a word processing program or so.
I don’t care about gaming.
Also I have been comparing them with other laptops for a while and I feel that Apple offers what I need. I plan on majoring in communications or journalism and will need better graphic programs.

    Hi, yeah it comes with the operating system OS X Leopard. For word processing u can buy Microsoft Office or Apple’s own iWorks. Otherwise they have the iLife suite which contains all ur daily applications such as iMovies, iTunes, etc. On Mac’s u will be limited to most of the software that they have to offer u meaning whatever Apple offers u buy. Macbooks r also very expensive as compared to an equivalent laptop of some other brand. The only advantage of a Macbook is security, also with OS X Leopard u can’t play any games so forget about that. If u want to play games then get a Windows Vista laptop. You can also consider buying a very powerful laptop with Linux installed on them like Dell is offering these days. With Linux u have a very high amount of security and stability and its highly customizable with a wide range of software. Remember Linux is also more secure than both Windows and Mac OS X. I hope I helped.

Apple Software?

Hey i have notice that i can not update any of my Apple Software since I updated my PC from Windows to Vista. Every time I try to upgrade or install any Apple software some massage shows up "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The Error code is 2738" is there any why I can fix this problem so it can work again????

    I think its not Windows Vista compatible that’s why it not upgrading it to the newer version.Hope this helps!!

Apple software?

Does anyone know where or how I cn find inexpensive apple software? It’s not as easy to get apple software as it is for Microsoft. so I am looking for any tips that would help. New or Used.

    Yes using Virtual PC or downloading Office for Mac.
    Word is part of a suite of programs and is not a stand alone software.
